I can always count on a White-breasted Nuthatch

Had some sun today.  My feeder is mostly nyjer now so not attracting as much.  Chickadees are hard to capture because they don't stay on the feeder very long.  Downys will stay for me but I can always count on nuthatches to come to the feeder and stay long enough.  Keep in mind, I'm literally standing at my fence taking pictures through my tree to get these pictures...

Soup to nuts

Yesterday, I put out some soup mix I was given and some mixed nuts I had to see what activity I would get on the ground.  We had some snow so I thought it would be a good background.  I was hoping for more sun but can't count on that.



The soup mix has corn in it.  I didn't get quite the crowd I was expecting and no birds but these Fox Squirrels had a lucky day...
