Playing around with Jacob's camera

Jacob let me borrow his nice camera for a car event and I still have it.  Not much going on in the yard or woods to capture.  

Yesterday I captured this Northern Flicker and today got this fox squirrel.  Not terribly interesting but I like the quality of the photos so posting them here...

Acorns aplenty

I don't recall acorns last year on my oak tree along the back fence but they are certainly there this year.  This Fox Squirrel is enjoying a snack...



We could use some squirrel pictures

The month of May was a rough one for our family.  Posting didn't seem important.  I was looking back and found these Fox Squirrel photos from late April and thought we're overdue for some squirrel photos.  The second one is a youngster...

Squirrel watching

I carry my camera on my morning walk with Russ.  You never know what you might see but you can be sure there are Fox Squirrels on alert with a threat like Russell.

I put the camera out Friday evening into this morning (Sunday).  Two different vantage points.

Happy Earth Day

A beautiful day here on Earth Day.  I've had my trail camera out over the past few days...I'll check those results on Sunday.

I saw this Fox Squirrel on my walk this morning.  It was making off with a pretty good haul.  I just missed getting a real nice close-up with it holding it's prize.  So much for sharing...
