Trail camera catch-up

Getting quite a few images in October. We are in the pre-rut period for deer...full breeding activity is in the early part of November.  I get a lot of does but choose to mainly spotlight the bucks because I like to note the changes they go through and see how many different ones we have.  Does are harder to tell apart.

How did a wild turkey sneak in here?

New Roof

After 10 years living here and realizing our shingles were 14 years old (not to mention a few hail storms that caused the rest of the neighborhood to replace their roofs) we decided it was time to do ours.  Insurance came through more than we thought and the day we got it done (10/19/21) was sunny and low 70s so it turned out great.

Here are pics during and after:

And done...

Buck up

Here are some images from September.  Some small bucks and one that my son-in-law Steve says is the "best one yet" (after 10 years) so that is saying something.

Below is the one Steve said is best yet...(and he means scoring the rack or antlers)

The one below looks like a different deer than above

Nice buck!

When I check my trail camera I see how many pictures it took.  And if the number is low, I'm disappointed but I've learned it's not how many pictures it took but what was captured.  Not bad with this buck...

First results from new trail camera location...not bad!

Here are some nice daytime pictures of fawns that passed through.  The last picture shows the second one.
