Super Bowl Sunday ~ An eagle, Russ and yes...more squirrels

I see pictures that people are taking of Bald Eagles along the Des Moines River and I'll admit I'm envious.  But I had a thrill yesterday watching about a dozen eagles soaring high over our neighborhood and happened to capture this shot...

My plan was to have a "squirrel bowl"...I even put out peanuts in a shell.  Again, not quite the turnout I expected but some fun pictures.  If you look close, the peanuts survived a long time before being eaten...the squirrels must not recognize the prize inside...
